July 2 and 4  Celebrations


The Town of Swansboro is happy to announce it will host activities to celebrate the Fourth of July in Downtown Swansboro on July 2nd and July 4th.   A fireworks display will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 9:00pm and then live music by the TAMS on July 4th from 6-10:00pm at the Harry C. Pugliese “Pug” Pavilion.  There will be a couple of food snack vendors and we encourage patrons to visit the downtown restaurants. 


July 2 Fireworks - street closures will begin at 5:00pm.

July 4 Live Music - street closures will begin at 3:00pm.

Streets effected by the closures include: 

-         All of Front Street                                        

-         All of Church Street

-         Water Street from NC 24 to Broad Street

-         Main Street from Elm Street to the water

-         Elm Street will be open for Southbound traffic

-         Walnut Street will be open for Northbound traffic


In addition to street closures, all public docks will be closed to pedestrian traffic on July 2, 2021. Church Street dockage will be limited to vessels with reservations only. Boat traffic will be limited in the area around Spoil Island off the Swansboro Waterfront beginning at 8:30pm until the fireworks conclude.
